Mr. Ben McPheron

I have been teaching at St. Columban school since 2003 and taught two years of high school science before moving to the Cincinnati area. My interest in science was first sparked when I was a kid grown up in the 80’s. My favorite television show was called MacGyver and it was unlike anything else I had ever seen. MacGyver ran counter to most other shows as the hero had great respect for scientific thinking and used his knowledge of science to solve problems. In 2022, I was awarded by the American Chemical Society as the Cincinnati Science Teacher of the Year.
